Can’t wait for everything to be all green again 🍃 this kind of winterish cool-and-windy-but-not-really-cold-season is not really my jam 🙃

No crying over spilt coffee ☕️

Sometimes I post selfie, sometimes I make statements. Today is a statement kind of day. 🌿 Yesterday I went to the Change Now Summit in Paris, which is an international gathering for change-makers of all sorts. The topics of the conference were very varied, ranging from responsible entrepreneurship to education, reduction of waste or the role of fake news in today’s society. I found it very motivating to see all these people, most of whom are running startups, bigger companies and other organizations or working in one, ready to get inspired to change the way today’s world works and make a difference in social and ecological responsibility. It made me think about a lot of things, but one thought that I had already before but which was confirmed is that change has to happen on all levels. It is not only in policy makers’ hands to tighten regulation, like it is not only companies’ job to take a more active role embedded in the rest of society, or individual citizen-consumers’ responsibility to demand changes. It’s all of the above, and they reinforce each other mutually. In order to make these changes, we have to move towards a truly value-based way of functioning on all these levels. Strong value-based decision-making is the way for more sustainable and long-term change in a world that moves fast and tries to pull us in every direction. It’s the bit of stability needed to keep up with constant change. Now I’m curious. The feeling of a situation bringing an overwhelming rush of sensations mixing real senses with feelings and memories has been present everywhere in the last few days. Paris always keeps triggering all my senses like no other place. The sights, the sounds, the smells and the tastes all blend together and form very special sensations, and I can’t always be sure how much they are tied to real events and how much my imagination works in the background. The memories resurfacing take me back to moments I can’t fully identify, but in my head, they are so real nevertheless. It’s like being on the limit between a dream and waking up. And in the moment, I just want to stay forever in this dreamlike fuzz where reality is different from anywhere else. ✨

Easy to smile in a shitstorm (I refuse to call this mush snow) when the end of that other shitstorm called exam period is in sight 🌪 I have to say this exam period felt quite light after the work overload at the end of last year, but nevertheless, the end of it means one step ahead in this master with 1/3 of it done 🎉 mixed feelings about how fast time flies, a lot of great things behind but also so much ahead ✨ hope your January has been good so far, let’s consciously make the decision to give it an even better end, shall we?

My kind of catwalk 🙃 I feel like I’ve been spending more time at the library lately than at home, but I have to say I truly enjoy it. It’s a neutral space for focusing (or not), where everyone’s in their own bubbles while being surrounded by people. It’s become such a cozy place for me that I sometimes even go when I wouldn’t need to, just because it’s my safe space 🙏🏻 yes I’m a weirdo, but we all have our thing, don’t we? 🙈 @koplistek always there to capture the moment

Wishing these were all mine but even cacti die in my care so I’ll just settle for looking at them and taking pictures 🙃🌵
